Minimalistic and modern – the new rubber flooring from Artigo
With SCREED, the new rubber flooring, ARTIGO once again demonstrates its skill and capabilities to architects.
The new Screed Collection from ARTIGO presents rubber in a way never previously seen, giving the impression of coated concrete. Milan-based ARTIGO have worked with rubber as a material with a completely different approach, and have developed a flooring which sets imperfection perfectly in its setting. It presents the effect of being structured, but the surface itself is uniformly smooth. The concrete impression is the result of an innovative production process with which the rubber powder is applied and then laid by trowel. In six neutral colours, between light ivory and black-grey coal, it provides the space a minimalistic modern look. ARTIGO SCREED was developed especially as a flooring for architects to work with in really unusual settings. Another distinctive feature is its ecological profile: The floor covering, certified with the “Blue Angel” award, contains 10 percent of rapidly regenerating raw materials, 60 to 65 percent natural raw materials, and about 3 percent of recycling material.
Tough thanks to special surface enhancement
ARTIGO SCREED is available as strip material and as tiles. The floor covering, three millimetres thick, is characterized by its closed-pore surface, which is particularly wear-resistant and easy to clean. This is the result of PRO, the special surface enhancement technique, cross-linked by ultraviolet radiation. The finish makes for an extremely long service life, while easy upkeep means savings on costs throughout the entire life cycle of the flooring.
ARTIGO SCREED and other rubber coverings from the ARTIGO-MONDO Group are available in Germany exclusively from objectflor.
